Welcome to Everymathia. By accessing or using our learning platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Refund Policy. Please read them carefully before using our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or accessing Everymathia, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all related policies. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our platform.

2. Account Registration

To access our platform, you must:

• Be at least 13 years of age
• Provide accurate and complete registration information (first name, last name, and a valid email address)
• Verify your email address within 24 hours of registration
• Create a strong password meeting our security requirements (minimum 12 characters, including uppercase, lowercase, number, and special character)
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account

You may not create more than one account per person or share your account with others.

3. AI-Generated Content Disclosure

Educational content on Everymathia — including theory sections, quiz questions, and interactive problems — is generated using artificial intelligence (Anthropic Claude AI). You should be aware that:

• AI-generated content is reviewed and stored on our servers before being served to users
• Despite our review process, AI-generated material may contain inaccuracies or errors inherent to the technology
• Everymathia is designed as a supplementary educational tool and is not a substitute for formal education, professional instruction, or accredited curricula
• Content is for educational purposes only and should not be relied upon as the sole source of learning
• Your personal data is never included in prompts sent to the AI service

4. Subscription Plans and Payments

Free Tier

We offer a free tier that provides access to the first chapter of each of our 12 courses (12 chapters total). The free tier includes:

• Theory, interactive problems, and quizzes for the first chapter of each course
• Basic progress tracking
• Theme and colour customisation
• Study notes

The free tier does not include: full chapter access (chapters 2–12 per course), the achievement system, study streaks, performance reports, data export, email notifications, or Master Scholar certificate eligibility. The free tier may be modified or discontinued at any time.

Paid Subscriptions

Paid subscriptions provide full access to all platform features:

• Monthly Plan: $19 per month, billed monthly
• Annual Plan: $199 per year, billed annually

Paid subscriptions include:

• Full access to all 144 chapters across 12 courses
• Achievement system with 34 badges across 6 tiers
• Study streak tracking and daily study goals
• Performance reports with quiz analytics and score history
• Data export (quiz report download as XLSX)
• Email notifications for milestones, course completions, and reminders
• Master Scholar certificate eligibility upon completing all 144 chapters

Payment Processing

All payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card information on our servers. Subscription fees are billed in advance. All fees are non-refundable except as provided in our Refund Policy. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the "Manage Billing" option in your account settings. Upon cancellation, your access continues until the end of the current billing period, after which no further charges will be made.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any illegal or unauthorised purpose
• Violate any laws in your jurisdiction
• Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others
• Transmit any harmful code, viruses, or malicious software
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts or data
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Share or redistribute course content without permission
• Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access or extract data from the platform
• Attempt to bypass or circumvent rate limiting or other security measures
• Upload malicious, harmful, or inappropriate files

6. Rate Limiting

To protect the platform and ensure fair use for all users, we enforce rate limits on certain actions:

• Login attempts: 10 per 15 minutes
• Account registration: 10 per hour
• Password reset and verification emails: 5 per hour
• Quiz submissions: 100 per minute
• Note creation: 20 per hour
• Note updates: 30 per hour
• Data exports: 10 per 15 minutes

Exceeding these limits will result in temporary access restrictions. Repeatedly or deliberately exceeding limits may result in account suspension.

7. User-Generated Content

Users may create study notes within the platform. Regarding study notes:

• Notes are limited to 10,000 characters per note
• Note content is sanitised for security purposes (HTML and scripts are removed)
• You retain ownership of the content of your notes
• Notes are private to your account and not visible to other users
• We reserve the right to delete notes that violate these Terms
• All notes are permanently deleted when your account is deleted

8. Certificates

Upon completing all 144 chapters across all 12 courses, subscribers are awarded a Master Scholar certificate:

• The certificate includes your name, completion date, and a unique verification ID
• A public verification page is created that allows third parties to confirm the certificate's authenticity
• Certificates are non-transferable and are tied to your account
• We reserve the right to revoke certificates if the associated account is found to have violated these Terms
• If you delete your account, the certificate verification page will no longer be available

9. Data Export

Subscribers can export their quiz performance data:

• Export is available as an XLSX (Excel) file download
• Exports include quiz scores, attempt history, and per-subject performance
• Export functionality is rate-limited to 10 exports per 15 minutes
• Data export is a subscriber-only feature and is not available on the free tier
• Exported data is for personal use only and may not be redistributed

10. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on Everymathia, including but not limited to:

• Course materials, theory sections, quizzes, and interactive problems (including AI-generated content)
• Text, graphics, images, and animations
• Software, code, and design elements
• Trademarks, logos, and brand assets

are owned by or licensed to Everymathia and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission. Study notes created by users remain the intellectual property of the user.

11. License to Use

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use our platform for personal, non-commercial educational purposes. This license does not include the right to download, copy, or redistribute course content.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms of Service
• Provide false or misleading information
• Engage in fraudulent activity
• Abuse or misuse the platform, including deliberate circumvention of rate limits or security measures

You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings (requires password confirmation). Upon termination:

• Your user profile, study notes, and quiz attempt history are permanently deleted
• Any active Stripe subscription is cancelled
• All sessions are destroyed
• Accounts suspended for Terms violations are not eligible for refunds

13. Disclaimers

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND:

• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
• We do not warrant the accuracy or completeness of content, including AI-generated educational material
• We are not responsible for any learning outcomes or results
• Everymathia is a supplementary educational tool and is not a substitute for formal education, professional instruction, or accredited curricula
• Course content is for educational purposes only

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Everymathia shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the platform.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the platform. Your continued use of Everymathia after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the platform shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
